Why Are Airport Transfers The Best?

So, people are talking a lot about airport transfer services, especially during these really of noxious pandemic times. When you’re traveling, something that is only recently considered particularly safe in light of the situation, people are recommending this over taxis, renting vehicles, etc. Well, airport transfers like transfer Zurich to St. Moritz or a Malan airport transfer are the best way to do it, but not necessarily for the reasons people are saying. So, while I am going to explain why they are the best, I also want to be fair to the public transportation in the EU, something that is usually superb, and to taxis and rental cars.

The virus isn’t that dangerous in that way…

First of all, the virus doesn’t really transfer over surfaces all that well, meaning that just because somebody that may have had the virus rented the car sometime before you, unless you immediately get in there within like two hours of them getting out, which never happens because the car has to be cleaned and sterilized regardless, and are breathing the same air they did, you aren’t going to catch something.

This also applies to public transportation, where social distancing is enforced, and masks are required. This could also be said for taxis, the drivers wear masks, and most of them, if not all, will not allow someone in their vehicle if they aren’t also practicing the appropriate safety measures!

Why is it better, then?

Well, as I said, taxis, public transportation and the like are all well and good, but taxis can get expensive, especially when leaving the airport. Traveling about the city afterwards, taxis are fine, but they tend to markup the prices at airports, and is just a common practice, and given how far they tend to have to drive to any destination from most airports, which are located outside of city centers, this actually kind of makes sense.

Public transportation is on a schedule, with limited stops, meaning that you may not be a get to your hotel from the airport, and not all airports have the best lines to public transportation, unlike other terminals like trains, bus depots and the like.

Finally, this is more convenient, if you go with St. Moritz airport transfers or a Malan airport transfer, if you have a family with you, or a large party of some sort. Transport like this comes in a few forms, such as comfortable conversion vans, small buses, charter buses, SUVs, minivans, sedans and everything in between. This means that you can travel the way you want, safely, as well as comfortable, well keeping your party intact.

This also means, when traveling abroad, you don’t have to worry about roadsigns not in your language, foreign traffic laws with which you naturally are unfamiliar, etc., failed to mention, of course, having to worry about finding your way to the hotel, something that can be difficult even with something like GPS to help you, when traveling outside a country that speaks your language.
